2nd pick: #2 (Win for the Zipper) - New York-bred chased and tired to finish fourth facing state-bred special weights going a mile on May 28th. Race was his first in two months and trainer Jimmy Toner brings him back on short notice and drops him in with "open" $25K maidens this afternoon. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Tell Grant) - Gelding by "Dynaformer" has been bet in several of his starts but continues to lose ground during the stretch run. Races third off an eight month break and it's nice to see "Cornelio" stay aboard.
4th pick: #6 (Side Party Ralph) - He wasn't far back of "Leroid" in a pair of starts earlier in this meet and in his latest he was eliminated by a poor start. Grey gelding has some speed and can factor with a clean break.
