In his follow up there in the (G1) Carter Handicap going 7 furlongs April 7, he tired while widest to finish fourth of 11, beaten 10 lengths against a much tougher field than this. Working fast since, he has the rail and has won at Belmont sprinting in the past.
2nd pick: #2 (Westwood) (2-1) - Very lightly-raced Godolphin home bred ships from Kentucky where he tired late in Keeneland's Commonwealth Stakes (G3) going 7 furlongs April 7. Speedy 4-year-old by 'Bernardini' had won 3-of-4 prior to that and is a win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #3 (King Kranz) (7-2) - Veteran has won two in a row since coming off a 10 month layoff March 16. Stalker did so following a trainer change to Rudy Rodriguez and he should sit a nice trip on the outside of the top two selections who have more early sped than him.
