2nd pick: #8 (Coarsegold) (8-1) - Filly had a perfect trip in the "Miss Otis" but didn't fire when asked. Daughter of "Giant's Causeway" was 4 back of "Jacq" that day, but the added distance and a fine outside post make her a win candidate at a square price.
3rd pick: #1 (Exchange Cat) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Linda Rice and the pair race uncoupled. Last out she raced evenly while 3 1/2 back of "Jacq" and a 1/2 better than "Gold." Speed/stalker has the inside post and is a stretch threat.
4th pick: #3 (Bella Castani) (5-1) - A very head-strong type she has plenty of talent and can factor if she doesn't fight her rider like she has in her last pair.
