She checked in 5th of 12, beaten 2.5 lengths at this level going a mile Aug. 15 at Saratoga in what only her second start and first since Oct. 24. She worked here Sept. 3 and has a solid shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #7 (Sandra's Mine) (4-1) - She's finished second in two straight at this level and was 1.5 lengths in front of 'Marquet Legacy' Aug. 15 at Saratoga. A home bred by 'Mineshaft', stalker is an obvious contender.
3rd pick: #1 (Petalite) (3-1) - Filly is one of two entered by trainer Dave Donk and they race as separate betting interests. She was only a 'head' behind 'Sandra's Mine' at Saratoga Aug. 15 while almost 1.5 lengths ahead of 'Marquet Legacy'. Improving sort has a ground saving post with John Velazquez staying aboard.
4th pick: #5 (Sterling Beauty) (9-2) - The second of the Dave Donk trained fillies, she was right behind both 'Sandra's Mine' and 'Petalite' and just under a length in front of 'Marquet Legacy' last out. No-speed type would be helped by a fast/and or contested pace.
