Speed/stalker has been freshened up since March 23 when he finished a close up second in New Orleans. He's facing his toughest test yet, but still gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Fox Rules) (6-1) - Old timer is a legend at Finger Lakes and has won 16-of-46 overall in his long career. Speedy 8-year-old is 3-for-11 on the grass with a pair of those wins coming here. Training fast for his first since April 1 and a strong win candidate at a square price.
3rd pick: #4 (Gio's Calling) (5-2) - His lack of early speed is a negative in this small field. Lightly-raced 4-year-old was a winner going a mile at Keeneland April 12 in his first start since late November. He should be finishing fast and would benefit if 'Tiznoble' and 'Fox Rules' were involved in a fast and/or contested pace.
