Much sharper in his previous pair, he has blinkers on, enters off a bullet 5 furlong local breeze May 7, and Irad Ortiz Jr who rode him in his maiden win is back aboard.
2nd pick: #7 (Kaden's Courage) (10-1) - Longshot tries hard every time and enters off a second-place finish going 6 furlongs April 19 at Aqueduct. Colt runs first off a Bob Klesaris claim, draws a good post, and think he's a factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #6 (Bronx Bomber) (8-1) - A lightly raced 3yo, he's won two in a row and defeated today's rival 'Kaden's Courage' by 1.5 lengths April 19 at Aqueduct. Much improved gelding has worked fast twice since and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Ro Bear) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, he finished a closeup third here at this level going 8.5 furlongs May 5. He had finished second in three of four prior to that with a pair of those coming against 'open' company. An obvious contender, but he's no 'lock' at a short price.
