2nd pick: #6 (Gunboat Diplomacy) (7-2) - Very wide in her first pair on the grass, both came against tougher. In a claimer for the first time, trainer Bruce Brown has Jose Ortiz aboard for the first time and removes this filly's blinkers.
3rd pick: #1 (My First Gal) (6-1) - Mare has been competitive at this level in two of her last three and was only a 'neck' behind 'Mz Seb Pat' last out. However, she's now 5.5 yrs old and unlike that rival there is almost no room for upside. A threat despite that fact.
4th pick: #5 (Youth Gone Wild) (6-1) - Another mare that's had a lot of chances, she rallied to finish second here at odds of 62-1 at this level and distance May 27. This is start # 22, so she needs at least a repeat of that surprising effort to factor.
