2nd pick: #5 (Myperfectvalentine) (5-1) - Price play runs first off a Gary Gullo claim (14%) and this daughter of "Curlin" ran "sneakily" well to finish fourth here on the grass going a mile on July 12th. Can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #6 (Fly Solo) (12-1) - Speedy sort finished a pace-setting second when sprinting on the Saratoga infield on on Aug .21 when racing for a $25K tag. Race was her first off a two month break and she was claimed that day by Randi Persaud. Longshot must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (Maintain the Magic) (8-1) - Lightly-raced home-bred by "Smart Strike" ships up from Monmouth where she tired after setting a pressured pace on Sept. 1. She's brought back quickly for this, drops in price, shortens up in distance, and trainer Alan Goldberg has her making back-to-back starts for the first time.
