She rallied to finish second going 7 furlongs at Saratoga Aug. 14 in only her second start and first since debuting Dec. 9. 3yo gets top billing.
2nd pick: #6 (Canteen) (7-2) - The second of the Chad Brown trained fillies, she's been on the sidelines since last Fall. She finished second when debuting here at 6.5 furlongs Sept. 16, then tired to check in fourth at 8.5 furlongs Oct. 25. Training fast for her return, $550K daughter of 'Candy Ride' has Castellano aboard while Brown wins at a 27% rate off of lengthy layoffs.
3rd pick: #1 (Razeena) (5-2) - She moves back to the dirt folowing a pair of defeats, one each on grass and poly. Filly rallied to finish second here at this level on a sloppy surface May 30 and a fast/and or contested pace would help her style out.
4th pick: #2 (Navasha) (4-1) - A daughter of 'Giant's Causeway', she rallied to finish fourth when debuting in a Saratoga sprint. She was beaten 11.5 lengths, but the winner scored by eight, so the effort wasn't as bad as the result. Working fast for Chris Clement 18% second time out, he stretches her out in distance 14%.
