2nd pick: #8 (Spa Sunrise) - Very speedy filly hasn't raced since a troubled trip last July at Saratoga in a G3 stakes facing open company. In her only other start she went wire to wire on this surface just under a year ago and is working very fast for her comeback attempt. Can factor if she runs, but trainer Wesley Ward often scratches his horses when the track is off.
3rd pick: #5 (Lady on the Run) - Home-bred by "Ten Most Wanted" was an impressive maiden winner on this surface May 8th, and came back June 5th to finish a rallying second in a $75K stakes race for state-breds on the turf.
