Premium Pick

Top pick: #4 (GUDAHI) - Speedy gelding chased, bid, and weakened to run third here at this price and distance June 16th. This field is significantly weaker overall and trainer Dave Fawkes will replace apprentice Cuartolo with veteran Jeff Sanchez for this attempt. The top pick.

2nd pick: #5 (Beijing Blues) - Nice effort here June 21st saw this 4-year-old show improve speed, make a strong bid, and weaken slightly to run third. Race was his first on the grass since last fall and it's good to see trainer Dave Donk bring him back 18 days and with John Velazquez back aboard. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #8 (Roman Thunder) - He raced evenly when debuting in the same race as "Controversial" and finished fourth of eight, beaten six lengths. Trainer Linda Rice brings him back on short notice and Dominguez takes the re-ride. Can contend, but will be over-bet.
