2nd pick: #7 (Fullness of Time) (5-2) - He's one of two entered by Chad Brown, and the pair race uncoupled. A $270K purchase, he finished 2nd in both starts during the late summer, and hasn't raced since Sept. 9. In steady training since mid-March, Brown wins at a 31% clip off of long layoffs, and Javier Castellano stays with this son of 'Flatter.'
3rd pick: #3 (Spice Road) (2-1) - Godolphin home bred rallied to miss by a 'nose' when debuting at this level going seeven furlongs March 17 at Aqueduct. He's worked three times since and is an obvious win candidate at a short price.
4th pick: #8 (Lookin At Roses) (6-1) - The second of the Chad Brown runners, this colt worked 11 times on the deep surface at Payson Park in preparation for his first start. Brown (20% with debuting maidens) breezed him a local half-mile April 22, and it's noted that Jose Ortiz is aboard.
