Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (BREAK CURFEW) (3-1) - She was a sharp maiden winner here when debuting at this distance Oct. 24 and it's noted that she was bet down to 3-2 favoritism. Sent directly to Churchill Downs for the two-turn Golden Rod Stakes (G2), she tired after rushing up following a troubled break. Given a 2.5 month freshening by trainer Chad Brown, she tired to finish third in her return Feb. 10 at Gulfstream. I give her a slight edge.

2nd pick: #4 (Mizzen Mast) (2-1) - Very fast from the gate, consistent sort has an outstanding record 7-3-4-0, all in dirt sprints and she's 3-1-2-0 at Belmont. New York bred is training steadily for her first since Aug. 2 and she's done good things off of layoffs in the past. A strong win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (Takecharge Mirella) (5-1) - She's one of two entered by trainer Kiaran McLaughlin and the pair race uncoupled. $50K purchase was a winner at Aqueduct March 24 and is moving up in class for this attempt. Stretch runner must be left in the mix.

4th pick: #3 (It's JusthittheWire) (10-1) - The second of the McLaughlin trained pair, she ships back from Maryland where she tired to finish 4th in a $100K stakes going a mile March 16. A winner of two of three sprints prior to that, speed/stalker breaks just off the rail and is a threat at a square price.
