Speed/stalker is positioned outside of his two main rivals and that will give rider Kendrick Carmouche some early options. I like this one's chances.
2nd pick: #4 (Fortune's Fool) (2-1) - He disappointed at Saratoga July 27 when he tired badly with no apparent excuse racing at this level and distance. Much sharper in his previous pair, 3yo missed by a length here under similar conditions June 23. Speedy gelding should be in this from gate-to-wire.
3rd pick: #1 (Off the Record) (5-2) - A sharp debut winner going 7 furlongs in an 'off the turf' contest at Saratoga July 17, he then tired late after setting the pace in his follow up there at this level Aug 24. That contest had a very strong field and this colt is dangerous from his inside post.
