Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (MY HAPPY PLACE) (5-2) - She's one of several regally bred fillies entered that are lightly raced. A $575,000 daughter of 'Tapit', and is stretching out in distance following a trio of encouraging sprint efforts. I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Stand foe the Flag) (8-5) - A daughter of 'Super Saver', she rallied to finish second last out at Saratoga and was a bit under a length in front of 'My Happy Place'. Only her second starts, it was her first since Sept. 2 of 2018 and she's a strong win candidate and I could have easily made her the top selection.
3rd pick: #4 (Trial and Error) (7-2) - Freshened up for the past two months, she finished a pace-setting second at this distance July 6 at Monmouth Park. Daughter of 'Uncle Mo' has more early speed than the top two picks and has been working fast for her return. I'm expecting her to be involved every step.
