Top pick: #5 (STAGLAMITE) (3-1) - Speedy gelding races third back off an eight month layoff and has some changes which can lead to his maiden win. Trainer Tom Morley drops him into a claimed and moves him from the grass back to the dirt. The main speed and the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #4 (Spango) (9-5) - The "morning line" favorite, gelding has gone 3-0-2-1 to date, and last out finished second here at this level and distance. Speed/stalker is from the Jacobson barn and should be involved from start-to-finish.

3rd pick: #6 (Imvros Pride) (5-1) - Debuting colt is by a solid first out sire "City Zip" and is from the capable barn of Rudy Rodriguez. There is a two month break this past winter in his work pattern, but he's been drilling steadily since his early April return to activity.

4th pick: #3 (Campion Lane) (10-1) - He's rallied to finish second in three of his last five starts, and last out ran third here at this level going a mile on a "muddy" surface just five days ago. Cuts back on a quick turnaround for this attempt, and he'll be making up ground late.
