Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (ASPHALT PAVING) (7-2) - Gelding rallied while wide to finish 4th, beaten just over 4 lengths going 6 furlongs at Aqueduct at this level April 25. It was his first since Feb. 25 and he's making back-to-back starts for the first time since the fall. Four-year-old by 'Speightstown' gets a slight edge.

2nd pick: #3 (Shamrocked) (6-1) - Long shot tired badly at this level March 24 at Aqueduct. Four-year-old was claimed that day by Ray Handal and he's given him 8 weeks of freshening. New barn adds blinkers and this price play enters off a bullet half-mile breeze (best of 20 at the distance) the morning of May 3.

3rd pick: #4 (Daring Destiny) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, speedy 4-year-old finished a pace-setting third at this level April 15 at Aqueduct. He tired in the final furlong and was a quickly diminishing 'head' better than 'Asphalt Paving' that afternoon. It earned him a career best figure and his only previous win came on an 'off' track Feb. 17.

4th pick: #8 (Beyond Honor) (8-1) - Home bred colt raced both wide and evenly facing tougher in a grass sprint April 8 at Aqueduct. Trainer Jim Ryerson drops him way down in class while switching him back to the main track. His only win came at this distance on a wet track Dec. 16 at Aqueduct. Interesting late threat at a big price.
