Top pick: #6 (MAKE NOTE) - He appears to be racing himself back into shape and rallied last out on a sloppy track here to finish fifth, beaten two lengths in a race facing tougher. His connections will drop him down in price, stretch him out in distance, and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Shimmering Forest ) - Speedy colt drop, runs third off a two month break, and trainer Dom Galluscio will move him from the grass to the dirt. Four-year-old has a fine drill here May 7th and has plenty of back races on the turf that could win this if he brings that form with him.
3rd pick: #9 (Hill Crossing) - Speed/stalker hasn't raced since Jan. 12 when he was claimed at Laurle by trainer Clevaland Johnson for $14K. Fits if ready and draws a good post to use his speed from.
