Top pick: #7 (SANCTIFY) (2-1) - Lightly raced son of "Pulpit" has been sharp in all three starts and enters off an impressive maiden win going 7.5-furlongs in the Aqu. "slop" March 29. Colt worked a near bullet five-furlongs here April 19, and trainer Bill Mott has him nicely spotted in his first facing winners.

2nd pick: #5 (Freddie G) (5-2) - Another that's lightly raced, he stretches out a furlong after rallying to run third at this level on April 5 at Aqueduct. It was his first since Feb. 22nd and first off a trainer change to Mike Hushion. Barn adds blinkers to this grey colt, and he's a threat to "Sanctify."

3rd pick: #4 (Do a Legger) (4-1) - Three-time winner ships up from Philly Park where he defeated $25k "open" 3l foes at this distance April 22. Speedy sort faces fellow New York-breds for the first time, and his early speed must be respected.

4th pick: #1 (Jack's R Wild) (6-1) - No speed type raced evenly on April 18 at Aqu. at this level and distance. Not a serious win threat, he has some closing punch, and may pass some late to get a slice of this. He would benefit the most if the pace picture is fast and/or contested.
