2nd pick: #5 (Performer) (5-2) - Lasix is added to Phipps home bred that finished third when debuting at this level and distance Nov. 3 at Aqueduct. Bet down to 3-2 favoritism that afternoon, colt hit the gate at the break but ran well once in stride. He has a fine series of works on view and Joel Rosario is aboard.
3rd pick: #2 (One Eyed Jack) (7-2) - He's one of tow debuting for trainer Chad Brown (20% first out) and they race as separate betting interests. A $675,000 son of 'Uncle Mo', he ships from Saratoga following a bullet 5 furlong drill and is a factor if ready.
