Top pick: #7 (COLLABORATOR) - Price play is in an under-rated barn (Michelle Nihei) and has been working well here since early May. Colt by "Any Given Saturday" had a solid half-mile gate breeze on the 15th and it's nice to see Eddie Castro aboard.
2nd pick: #5 (In Harm's Way) - Home-bred by "Hook and Ladder" has a series of very sharp works on view and is in with veteran trainer Mike Hushion. He has a trio of excellent half-mile gate works showing and will be tough if he runs to his AM work.
3rd pick: #1 (Awesome Weekend) - It's always of note when Dominguez takes a first time starter and he doesn't ride very often for trainer Gary Contessa. Another son of "Any Given Saturday" and colt has been training nicely on the deep training track at Saratoga.
