Top pick: #10 (ALL ZIPPED UP) - Gelding returns from an 11 month layoff for a trainer (Phil Serpe) who excellent off of long breaks(25%). Flying Zee home-bred was competitive last year in two starts facing tougher and will race in a claimer for the first time. The choice in a competitive race, he's one of a pair entered by the trainer and they'll race uncoupled.

2nd pick: #9 (City Whisper ) - He had some traffic issues when debuting at this trip facing better on June 9th and trainer Linda Rice drops him down for his 2nd start. Dominguez stays put and Rice is solid 2nd time out (22%).

3rd pick: #7 (Supreme Serene) - He's the other of the Serpe pair and has been freshened-up since May 20th. In good form at that time and he's a major factor in today's contest.

4th pick: #3 (Military Star ) - Drops into a claimer for the first time and races 2nd back off a long layoff and a barn switch to Tom Bush. Has some fine early speed and a nice work on July 3rd. Exotics factor.

5th pick: #6 (Blue Horseshoe) - Lightly raced, he runs 2nd off a long layoff, goes dirt to turf, and will stretch-out in distance. In a very good barn (Carlos Martin 40%) in a 2nd off the bench situation. Price play.
