Top pick: #3 (BELIEVE IN BETTY) - Filly raced evenly last out at thi tag and trip on June 6th, but had run well in her previous two outings including a nose loss on April 29th. Grey daughter of "Hook and Ladder" can take this with her best.
2nd pick: #4 (Richbelle) - Filly hasn't raced since Nov. 12 when she tired badly facing tougher in her final start of 2011. She'd been competitive in her previous pair facing special weights and will drop into a career soft spot off almost an eight month layoff.
3rd pick: #6 (Galaxy Jet) - Clearly better on the turf, she finished 6th of 11, beaten 2 lengths here facing state-bred special weights at this trip on June 16th. Effort came in her second back from a 10-month break and drops down to face "open" company.
4th pick: #5 (Our Pink Ribbon) - Speedy filly has been competitive in both turf sprints and trainer Bruce Brown will add blinkers on for this attempt. Lightly raced 3-year-old has an excellent work on the June 27th and her speed makes her dangerous.
