Claimed that day by Brad Cox, she had a ton of problems and traffic issues in her follow up at Saratoga Aug. 4. She's worked four times since, drops in class, and Javier Castellano is aboard for the first time.
2nd pick: #8 (Zandora) (7-2) - Speedy filly moves back to the grass and is dropping a bit in her second off a Chris Englehart claim. She tired in an 'off the turf' sprint Aug 21 at Saratoga and her early speed is a plus in this rather pace-less group.
3rd pick: #4 (Alley to Calvary) (3-1) - No-speed type is racing back into shape after returning in early June from a five month layoff. She's been competitive here at this level and distance in the past and is a late threat in this spot.
4th pick: #3 (Ascender) (6-1) - A lightly raced 4yo by 'Giant's Causeway', she enters off of three straight wide trips facing state bred allowance foes. In a claimer for the first time, home bred is capable of factoring at a square price.
