2nd pick: #7 (Shak's Hidden Gem) (5-2) - Speedy filly set the pace in the same last race as 'Mensa Member' and tired late to finish only a 1/2 length behind that rival. Competitive in both starts, daughter of 'Shackleford' is an obvious factor today.
3rd pick: #6 (Fika) (10-1) - Never involved when debuting in a dirt sprint Sept. 2 at Saratoga trainer Joe Sharp (18% second-time out) switches her to the turf (20%) while stretching her out in distance (23%). Think she's capable of getting a share at a big price.
