Three-year-old finished a close-up third last out on this course going 7 furlongs and that was his first race in six months. Comes back in less than a month, stretches-out a bit in distance, and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #12 (Windafull) - He's taken some money in both starts and this gelding finished a pace-setting/pressing second on May 28th at this level and distance. Has a nice work since and is a win candidate if he repeats his latest.
3rd pick: #2 (Titus Catienus) - Home-bred rallied to finish third in his debut going 6 furlongs on this course May 26th and he'll stretch-out in distance this afternoon. Trainer Bruce Levine always points his maidens towards their second outing and this gelding by "Catienus" is a threat.
4th pick: #5 (Knock Quietly) - He's finished second in four of seven grass starts at this level and in his last pair had tough trips from outside posts. Draws much better this afternoon and he's a threat at a nice price.
