Top pick: #7 (PAPER PLANE) - Filly finished second here at this level going 6 furlongs on May 27th her first start since doing the same here last July 11th. Daughter of "Fusaichi Pegasus" has a sharp 5-furlong breeze six days ago and draws a nice post for this 6.5 furlong trip. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Typhoon Teri) - Filly chased a fast pace and finished evenly to check in fourth of eight, beaten 5 lengths racing here on May 6th. Trainer Dom Galluscio has given her almost six weeks to rest and adds blinkers for this attempt.
3rd pick: #3 (Jitney) - Home-bred raced wide and evenly in the same last race as "Plane" and was 8 1/2 lengths back of her at the finish. Effort was her first off a seven month layoff and was encouraging. She's worked since and will be making back-to-back starts for the first time.
4th pick: #1 (Corinthian's Lark) - First-time starter is in a good barn (Bruce Brown) and this filly has been working steadily since she came to the track on April 1st. Daughter of "Corinthian" has a fine half-mile gate breeze on May 31st and could grab a share at a square price.
