She did so twice last summer in her native land and enters off a second-place finish at this distance April 24 at Keeneland. The effort was complimented when the winner scored again next out and I give this 3yo top billing.
2nd pick: #9 (Keepme in Thegame) (7-2) - A $435,000 daughter of 'Pioneer of the Nile', she rallied while wide to finish third, just under a length in back of'Queen Medb' when debuting April 24 at Keeneland. It was a solid first appearance and she's a threat with normal second-out improvement.
3rd pick: #4 (Blahnik) (10-1) - Longshot has early speed and is stretching out in distance in her third back from 8 months on the sidelines. She finished a close up 3rd sprinting 5.5 furlongs on the Gulfstream grass March 24 and the figure earned that day fits well with this group.
4th pick: #3 (Dating Game) (20-1) - Another longshot, this $360K filly by 'Ghostzapper' is on the grass for the first time. She's raced evenly in two of three dirt sprints and may grab a share at a big price.
5th pick: #7 (Catch a Bid) (8-1) - One of four making their debuts, she's from the barn of Chad Brown (20% first out) and he has Javier Castellano aboard. She breezed five times on the training track at Saratoga during May and could factor if ready.
