Speed/stalker finished third here at this level & distance on June 19, and she had a lot of traffic issues during the stretch run. 4yo gets a rider change and is racing second back from a two month break.
2nd pick: #3 (Valerie Victoria) (7-2) - Lightly raced filly hasn't seen action since Jan. 2 at Gulfstream Park. Claimed that day by Bruce Brown for $25K, he brings her back 6 1/2 months later for a $14k tag. A strong win candidate if ready with her best.
3rd pick: #8 (Rettalfa) (3-1) - The second of the Gullo fillies, she raced evenly after a troubled start and a very wide trip when finishing 2 1/2 back of "Inflation" here June 19. One run type can factor, but must avoid another outside journey from this post.
