Bet down to 3-2 favoritism, she raced last early on, but exploded turning into the stretch to win by over three lengths. She's working above average since for trainer Chad Brown, and this 3yo may have a very bright future.
2nd pick: #9 (Cherry Lodge) (3-1) - Speedster is working very fast on the grass for her first race since Oct. 16. $450,000 daughter of 'Bernardini' was sharp in all three starts last year and was stakes placed in both facing 'Graded' stakes foes. From the Pletcher barn (32% off of long breaks), she draws a nice outside post, and is the main threat.
3rd pick: #6 (Joust) (8-1) - Daughter of 'War Front' has been freshened up since May 17. One run type has some ability and has some fine works showing on the Saratoga training track. May grab a share at a square price.
4th pick: #4 (Culpa Mia) (12-1) - Longshot broke her maiden here June 18 going six furlongs in a contest that was taken 'off the turf.' Stalker has some talent and room for upside.
