3rd pick: #6 (Cobble Hill) (12-1) - Longshot moves up in class after tiring to finish fourth going 7 furlongs at Saratoga for a $50,000 price tag Aug. 15. It was his first race in 7.5 months and he was claimed that afternoon by Bruce Brown and think he can grab a share at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Somes Sound) (8-1) - A $375,000 son of 'Ghostzapper', he has early speed but has fished well behind 'Free Enterprise' in both attempts. He has the rail for the second straight start, is working fast, and trainer Jimmy Jerkens is adding blinkers.
