Speed/stalker has been working steadily, is from the Pletcher barn (29% off of long layoffs) and he has John Velazquez aboard. Repole home bred will win this if ready, but make sure you box some bets with her.
2nd pick: #6 (Malarkey) (4-1) - Bred for speed, she was a gate-to-wire maiden winner by 4.5 lengths at this distance Aug. 9 at Saratoga for a $40K price tag. Claimed that day by Linda Rice for herself, she wins at a 30% rate first off the claim and this 3yo is dangerous.
3rd pick: #3 (Tayler's the Boss) (9-2) - She chased a quick pace and held to finish a distant 2nd at this level going 6 furlongs at Saratoga July 25. It was her first in a claimer and daughter of 'Street Boss' has been working steadily since. In the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Cathy Naz) (8-1) - Stretch runner rallied to finish second here at this level June 24, then raced evenly following a troubled break facing tougher at the Spa July 30. A late factor if the pace is fast and/or contested.
