2nd pick: #5 (Binkster) (4-1) - This gelding rushed up after a trouble break to press a quick pace in the same last race as 'H Man'. He held until the final furlong when he weakened to check in fourth, 4 lengths in back of that rival. He had won 3-of-4 prior to that and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Bluegrass Express) (10-1) - Longshot ships from Philadelphia Park where he rallied to finish fourth in a first level allowance facing 'open' company May 6. He won here at this level and distance in his only previous local attempt (Oct. 18), and is capable of factoring at a qsuare price.
4th pick: #8 (Sicilia Mike) (8-1) - Veteran finished 3.5 lengths behind 'H Man' here May 9 and was a 'neck' better than 'Binkster' that afternoon. No-speed type has a fine local record 9-1-5-3 and a fast and/or contested pace would help his chances out.
