In her follow up at the Spa Aug. 22, she raced evenly while missing by 2.5 lengths. Given a bit over a six week freshening by Chad Brown, I give her top billing.
2nd pick: #7 (Kressie) (7-2) - New York bred filly exits a pair of stakes for state breds in this spot. 4yo has finished close up several times at this level facing 'open' company and most all of her success has come at Belmont.
3rd pick: #6 (All Quality) (4-1) - A lightly raced daughter of 'Quality Road', she rallied to miss by less than a length Aug. 9 at Saratoga, then then tired late there in a $100K stakes Aug. 22. A $240,000 purchase drops in class, has blinkers on, and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Atomic Blonde) (5-2) - Tough call as this home bred filly by 'Scat Daddy' is very lightly raced and is facing winners for the first time. She broke her maiden at this trip Aug. 24 at Monmouth Park and trainer Todd Pletcher worked her four times during Sept. at Belmont. 3yo has plenty of both potential and room for upside and gets a class test today.
