Premium Pick

Top pick: #6 (MINESWEPT) - He set a fast pace and weakened to finish third last out to the hard-hitting "Johannesburg Smile" and it was this 4-year-old's first race in almost eight months. Trainer Rudy Rodriguez has given him a month to recover and will take the blinkers off this son of "Mineshaft" and give a "leg up" to Ramon Dominguez. Has a good shot at upsetting the rail runner.

2nd pick: #1 (Jack London) - He was an impressive maiden winner here at this distance May 28th and was scratched out of yesterday's Barbaro S. at Delaware Park to await this spot. Working fast, he has excellent early speed and is a win candidate. The probable favorite and he'll be tough.

3rd pick: #4 (City Trooper) - Moves back to the dirt after tiring badly at this level in an 8.5 furlong turf contest just eight days ago. Previous race facing weaker produced an easy win here at this trip facing fellow New York-breds. Dangerous on the quick turnaround.
