2nd pick: #2 (Perfect Partner) (9-5) - The morning line and probable heavy favorite, he's finished 2nd at this level in all three lifetime starts. Strong finisher just missed at Churchill going 10 furlongs May 28, and this $550,000 son of 'Curlin' is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Funtastic) (4-1) - Debuting son of 'More Than Ready' has been in steady training on the Saratoga training track since it opened for the season May 1. In the barn of Chad Brown (19% first out), he has Javier Castellano aboard. The pair have won with 98 of 350 (28%) when teamed-up over the past 18 months.
4th pick: #6 (Stan the Man) (6-1) - He was away slowly, but made up some ground when debuting here June 9 going seven furlongs. Trainer John Terranova II (21% second time out) had him breeze a sharp 5/8ths on June 25.
