Only her second ever in a claimer, it was her first at today's $30K price tag and she enters off a quick 5-furlong work Sept. 29 at Monmouth. I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Gottahaveaholiday) (9-5) - Mare is racing for the first time since May 5 when she finished second here going 6 furlongs facing tougher. It was the third straight time she checked in the place spot and she's in a claimer for the first time. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Mimi and Charley) (9-2) - A lightly raced 3yo, she tired sprinting here on the grass for a $30K tag Sept. 22. Only her second start, she's down a bit in price, switches back to the dirt, and is making back-to-back starts for the first time.
