2nd pick: #1 (Miss Rombauer) (7-2) - This filly is one of two entered by trainer Jorge Abreu, and the pair race uncoupled. This $375,000 daughter of 'Scat Daddy' ships from Keeneland where she raced evenly while wide at this distance facing tougher April 24. It was her first since debuting at Saratoga eight months earlier, and she's in a claimer while making back-to-back starts for the first time. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Kickin Kimberly) (5-1) - A nibbling type, she moves back to the grass after being pulled up in an 'off the turf' contest here May 5. It was her first since late June of last year, and she probably needed the start for conditioning purposes. Competitive in five straight at this level, this 4yo should get a slice with her 'A' game.
4th pick: #2 (Dolores Westworld) (4-1) - The second of the pair from trainer Abreu, she raced evenly going nine furlongs facing tougher April 7 at Aqueduct. In a claimer for the first time, she fits on figures and gets a rider upgrade to Manny Franco. In the mix.
