Unraced as a 2yo, she was in training this past winter at the Palm Meadows Center near Miami. From the barn of Chad Brown (20% first out), she's breezed twice at Belmont and looks well prepared to win in her initial attempt.
2nd pick: #9 (Star of the East) (8-5) - Lasix is added to this 4yo filly by 'Medaglia d'Oro. She finished a pace-setting third when debuting at Saratoga Aug. 6, then rallied to miss by a 'head' April 5 at Aqueduct. Her flexible style is a plus as is the presence of Javier Castellano.
3rd pick: #2 (La Vida) (8-1) - Longshot raced evenly when debuting at this level on the Gulfstream turf March 30. It was a useful educational first attempt and her trainer Jorge Abreu wins at a 20% rate second time out. A filly by 'Tiznow', she's capable of getting a share at a big price.
