It was his first start in two months and first following a positive training switch to Rudy Rodriguez. He has the rail, Irad Ortiz Jr stays aboard, and gelding is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (San Juan Diego) (9-2) - He rallied while wide to finish third here May 28 but was almost 4 lengths in back of 'Suas'. It was his first start in 3.5 months and colt should narrow that gab in this spot. Think he can be competitive at a square price.
