Premium Pick

Top pick: #9 (Princess Jenny) - Lightly raced and improving, she raced evenly while having traffic issues in both Saratoga outings. Trainer Jim Bond adds blinkers, Dominguez stays aboard, and she ships down from the "Spa" with a pair of fine recent works.

2nd pick: #8 (Notesfromabroad) - She's one of two fillies entered by trainer Linda Rice and the pair race uncoupled. Daughter of "Read the Footnotes" tired at Saratoga when she faced males in a race at this level that was switched to the main-track. Outing was her first in 5 months and she'll going to the turf and running against her own sex this afternoon.

3rd pick: #5 (Talmadge Hill) - The 2nd of the Rice pair, she's the probable favorite after rallying to finish 2nd when debuting on August 26th at saratoga. Daughter of "Grand Slam" has worked since and Rice wins at an 18% clip 2nd time out. No knocks from me.

4th pick: #12 (It's Your Dime) - Speedy daughter of "Freud" finished 2nd here at this level and distance when debuting on July 15th, then had traffic issues in a pair of appearances at Saratoga. Her speed must be respected.
