Prior to that he'd gone (5-0-4-1) on the grass and that's what he'll run on today. Has a bullet half-mile breeze here four days ago and trainer Mike Trombetta drops him down to a new low in price. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Rangey) - Grey gelding by "Mizzen Mast" finished second at this price and distance at Aqueduct on April 21st and in his prior start he raced evenly from a very tough post (12th of 12) racing at Gulfstream. Improving, and he draws outside of the speed.
3rd pick: #2 (Power Emblem) - He was competitive in a trio of grass starts at Gulfstream and they all came racing for a higher tag. He ran poorly here last out, but it came on a sloppy surface in a switched contest. Contends today.
4th pick: #4 (Dynabrook) - Lightly-raced son of "Dynaformer" doesn't have any speed, but last fall he finished withing range in a pair of the turf facing special weights. Colt drops into a claimer for the first time and will be closing fast.
