2nd pick: #1 (Song for the Soul) (7-2) - On the sidelines since early November, she's working steadily for trainer Wesley Ward who wins at a solid 25% off of long layoffs. Speed/stalker drops to a new low, has the rail, and she should be involved every step. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #13 (New York Bourbon) (12-1) - Grey filly has yet to finish worse than fourth in five attempts on the dirt. Stalker has some ability and may factor at long odds.
4th pick: #9 (Sapporo) (5-1) - Very lightly-raced 5-year-old has finished second in both starts, both at this level and distance. Stretch runner is racing for the first time since April 19 and does so off a claim by veteran Pat Kelly. Blinkers go on and she fits with her best.
