Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (WHITE FLAG) (5-2) - Well bred colt is shortening up in distance following a pair of back-to-back third place finishes at this meet going longer. Son of 'War Front' will have to come from behind in this spot but there appears to be enough speed signed on to set things up for his late charge.
2nd pick: #3 (Factorial) (6-1) - Colt cost $600,000 as a yearling back in the fall of 2015. He 's been freshened up since Jan. 22 when he tired going longer at Gulfstream Park. Race was his first ever on the grass and he's been training sharply for his return on the Saratoga training track. It's of note that 'Hall of Famer' Bill Mott has John Velazquez aboard.
3rd pick: #6 (Master Merion) (3-1) - NEW gelding has been sharp in all four starts. Speed/stalker ships from Churchill Downs where he finished a pace-chasing third going a mile May 13. Win candidate.
