Competitive in six of seven overall, he finished third here going 6 furlongs in an 'off the turf' contest May 20. Race was his first since March 30 when he was claimed by Dave Jacobson for $30,000. 3-year-old son of 'Stay Thirsty' meets a weak field and will be tough to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Bartletts Mark) (10-1) - Long shot showed good early speed here before tiring at this level going 6 furlongs May 16. It was his first start since Oct. 9 and he most likely needed the effort for conditioning purposes. Home bred will take them as far as he can at a big price.
3rd pick: #7 (Street Cat Sam) (5-1) - He finished a non-threatening third here May 16 and passed 'Bartlett's Mark' in the final furlong. Gelding has a good post at this 7 furlong trip and is capable of getting a slice.
