(# 2) Dressed To Win - Trainer Linda Rice has developed her reputation on her ability to get the most out of young horses rather than selling them once they've shown some talent. This filly was claimed by Rice two back from Dutrow barn for $50,000. Maiden was then sent up to race against special weights and she pressed a quick half (:46.6), before tiring a bit to finish third. Stretches out today to one mile and has a very sharp work on the Belmont training track (:48.2), second best of 44. Draws near the rail, has Lopez aboard and will try and go all the way.

(# 5) Pleasant Rhapsody - Bush trainee improved with the stretch-out, not a surprise being by Pleasant Tap. Filly was well bet that day and is the logical horse to beat in here. Coa stays put and she may be the favorite again today.

(# 6) Make it Come True - Drew the rail in sprint debut and encountered some problems at the start and raced a bit greenly after that to finish a well-beaten third. Has worked well since and considerable improvement is not out of the question.
