AQUEDUCT Race #ONE

(# 2) SULTRY CITY - This horse would have won his last race with a more energetic ride early. The wire-to-wire winner ran the field off their feet early, and it left him too much to do, although he was gaining ground rapidly. Should be on, or near the lead in a field lacking quality speed.

(# 7) TO THE REPUBLIC - Gets a trainer change to Gary Gullo. Improved third-place finish on March 1 in a sprint. Finished well despite a deliberate pace. Moves off the inside for second start off of a layoff.

(# 4) BARBARA'S DELIGHT - Needed her recent effort over an inside speed track in a race won by her entrymate. Expected to move forward in her second start off the shelf. Has worked twice since. Second time with blinkers and Martin.

The Plays: $10 exactas on 2-7 and 2-4.
$4 exactas on 7-2 and 4-2.
$1 trifecta part-wheel on #2 over 4-7 over all.
