( # 1) NORMAN'S GOOD BOY - He showed improved speed in a very quick race on March 7. He chased a loose speed to midstretch, and understandably tired late. Today, he drops and stretches out, and draws the rail, all of which signal positive trainer intent. He looms the controlling speed breaking from the rail in a race lacking much in the way of early pace, at least on paper. A homebred runner, he has a pedigree to get a middle distance of ground and this appears to be a GO day with Lopez aboard. Has worked twice since for a barn that has struggled all meet.

(# 6) HUMERUS ALEX - With the inner track closing this week, I can fully understand why this horse is entered back on a weeks rest. He was a strong third on March 22, over an inside speed-biased track, rallying strongly in the lane. On March 1, he caught yet another good final time, turning back to a sprint. Can win this if the top pick scratches or fails to get the distance.

The Plays: $10 to win and place on #1.
$1 trifecta part wheel on #1 with #6 with all.
$1 trifecta part wheel on #6 with #1 with all.
Total Wager = $36.00.
