(# 4) POKER GOD - This is a very difficult race to be sure. That said, this horse was obviously pointed to a New York-bred turf race after wintering in Florida. He worked almost exclusively over the Classic Mile training center earlier this year and then worked a creditable 5F over their main track before being shipped north. He has trained steadily over the Belmont Park training track since arriving back in new York, and his recent 7F work gives every indication of his present readiness. His dam, a French-bred runner won at almost a mile in France, and has produced three winners from as many starters. His sire and trainer are good first time out, and Muktakddim also does very well with first time turf runners, having won five times in England himself. Attracts Bravo another sign of positive intent.
