(# 4) SMASH 'EM SAMMY - Hard-hitter gets to run at his trainer's home base again today. Sharp work on Oct. 30, and trainer Scott Schwartz adds blinkers today for the first time. Likes to get involved and fight it out.

(# 5) Zipperoo - Appears to be the fastest early on. Couldn't get the lead in the slop in last. Has proven that if he can clear, he is a tough horse to reel in.

(# 9) Five Towns - Stayed on well in last and didn't give up a lot of ground. Proven classier in the past, and appears to be nearing his best.

(# 6) No Parole - Lightly raced this season and he has his problems, but appears to be coming around to his best race.

(# 2) Phillip X - Late rally defeated the top pick in last, but rarely repeats his good efforts.
